While the doctor has been great each time my son has received an eye exam, I was extremely disappointed with the woman at the front desk yesterday. She asked me to verify that all my information was the same when we entered the office. I told her yes. She asked me to wait a few minutes and then sent us back for the exam. After finishing the exam, she said that they no longer accept our insurance and I'll have to pay for the exam. I paid for it and took my receipt, but when I voiced my displeasure, she argued with me and made no attempt to apologize or take responsibility. The ethical thing would have been to let me know in advance of the appointment that our insurance is no longer accepted.
