I'll start with the good part of my experience at this pub. The building itself is beautiful with multiple levels including a rooftop patio which is great for a sunny day like the day we were there. It's also conveniently located a short walk from the beach where we were early sailing. The other great feature of this pub is they serve Guinness, my favourite beer, but hey so does any Irish Pub worth being at.
That's about where my positive experience ended. After joining some friends I was introduced to what seemed to be a battle between servers to take our orders. Don't get me wrong as much as I love being well attended to this just got annoying by the end of our experience there. Our waitress continually questioned our experience in mixing drinks so much so as to tell us pouring a black velvet was impossible, we promptly proved her wrong. The wait time for drinks was ridiculous considering the bar was right around the corner and our server continually gave us attitude so much so we all left in a bad mood. I love a cheeky bar maiden but there's only so much attitude customers can take before it just completely ruins your experience. I'd go back for the atmosphere but I hope they get their staff sorted out.
