  • I got the SAS package and got a kids package for my boys, aged 11 and 13. We were staying on the strip and "Carol" came to pick us up. She was friendly and informative and both of the kids liked her. The instructor, John was very patient and took the time to explain to the kids what to expect and how to shoot. The guns they used were modified to fire .22 long rifle rounds (semi-auto) so the recoil was very minimal and a premium was placed on their safety. As they fired, John stayed next to them in the lane and helped them make adjustments. They hit the target center mass almost every time. Since I have a Glock 22 (.40 S&W) at home, I asked if my kids could fire the Glock 19 instead of me. They were very accommodating and with John's help, they hit center mass or made head shots every time with this larger caliber gun. The real difference was when my oldest, who had not been feeling well threw up on the range. He tried to hold it back with his hand and got it in his hair, on his face and all over his shirt. No one made him feel bad about it, and after we went to wash up, he was feeling really down about it. John and Mark (the manager on duty) told him not to worry and even gave him a free Machine Guns Vegas shirt, because according to John "It is no fun to shoot in a wet shirt". They didn't shame him or make him feel bad and turned something that could have ruined his experience into something positive instead. For my package, I fired the HK MP5, a sniper rifle and the SAW. The MP5 and SAW were really fun. I recommend buying additional rounds because no matter how much you fire those machine guns, it is over too soon. We were allowed to film the whole thing and pose with the guns afterward (without the clip) for social media, and again they bent over backwards to accommodate this and make the experience a positive and safe one for all of us. When we were done, my son was feeling better and we asked Carol for a recommendation for a place to eat on the way home. She was willing to reroute and drop us off at the Main Street Station to try it out even though it was 15 minutes out of the way for her next pickup. I cannot recall a more positive customer experience, ever. From top to bottom, they were so great that even though I don't like to write reviews, service like that needs to be rewarded. If you want to give yourself and your kids something from your Vegas trip to remember, then come here.
