I've been going to their other locations in Orange County for years. We've always had good luck finding items there. But this location? The only thing that we've purchased was a pair of (reproduction) antique lamps for $80.
The inventory is hit or miss, as with any other consignment store, but I guess the people who consign their furniture here is just SO not my taste. Lately I've only seen THE UGLIEST stuff here. Think the furniture in Beetlejuice; late 80s "modern". I've also seen the ugliest of the stuff stay there for months and months--and it's not cheap! The "modern" stuff is priced more than the vintage and reproduction antique.
We saw a faux teak carved wall hanging here priced $200 more than a very similar one in the Irvine location. A lot of these things are not one of a kind. But they price them here like they are.
As far as the rude staff? I have never encountered any rudeness from them. We get a greeting about 50% of the time when we come in. Not a big deal to me. I did find it funny they used to have a "No Hoodies" sign on the front door though. That is now gone. I wear my hoodies in there all the time. Non issue for a little Asian girl I suppose. I don't think that sign was meant for me.
