Last week JR's went out to look at my A/C unit and said that the unit needed a new motor run device (aka capacitor). They replaced it for $350 and said that everything else looked fine. One week later and the AC is out again. For another $495 they offered eagerly to replace the fan motor on the spot. I declined as it seemed to me that their price for the first visit was too high and now I was being told only a week later that I have an entirely different problem and this new problem would cost me another $495. When I decided to go with a different company I was promptly charged another $75 for a service call when all I wanted them to do was to ensure that that they had done the work correctly the first time. In total, $425 and still no working A/C!
