This is one of the best restaurants in the northern hemisphere. The steak is insane. The oysters are unbelievable. The service is quite literally the best in the world. I had one bad oyster out of a dozen. I didn't say anything because it happens and can't really be avoided. Within 5 seconds of popping it in my mouth, and probably making an "uh-oh bad oyster" face, a waiter ran up to me and insisted I spit it into a napkin he handed to me. I was absolutely not upset, and made a joke of it, and kept eating. Not ten minutes later a chef came out with ANOTHER dozen of somehow even more gorgeous oysters, and offered unnecessary but sincere apologies for the bad oyster. It was so far above and beyond the type of service we get even in top NYC restaurants.
The other food is simply exceptional. We travel from upstate NY to Montreal about once a year, and I've actually held off going until the Q reopened. Now we're planning a trip and will be making dinner reservations before we even pick a hotel!
