Warning--I haven't been to roller rink in years so I have little to compare this against.
Cost:
Admission for skating is six dollars-- it's an additional three dollars to rent rollerblades/in-line skates, and two dollars to rent traditional four wheeled rollerskates. They do offer a family deal where you get skate rentals for 4, a pitcher of soda and popcorn for $35. Note: you are also required to store any personal belongings in a locker which as an additional $0.50. PVC pipe walkers are also available for rent for $3 to help the beginner skaters.
Decor/atmosphere:
It literally looks like it hasn't changed since the 1970-80's. The facilities are not well maintained, and the roller rink is uneven with spots that are rough, which is tough for beginner skaters. Lets just say I'm thankful I didn't have to use the bathroom. They do play fun, up-beat music, although our 7 year old said it was too loud (he can be an old man at times). It is cold inside which is nice if you're skating up a sweat, but bring a jacket if you're just watching. There are several arcade games to play, although, we just stuck to skating.
Overall, it is a little sketch and not somewhere I would leave kids alone... but we had a blast and would definitely go back.
