This place is really comparable to Whole Foods in most ways. I've had excellent service here for the most part, especially at the meat counter, but often the deli counter will ignore you for quite a while before greeting you.
I'm really satisfied with the selection of meat and produce, but I feel the bread/bakery could be better- for example, they don't offer fresh bagels.
Also, as others mentioned- this place is pricey as you would expect from a higher end grocery store. This is really the kind of place you would go if you're looking for a particular top quality ingredient, or a special health food product- not for weekly groceries (at least not for me).
What I like the most about this grocery store is the Tomato Bank- you get points for every dollar you spend which eventually adds up to money you can use towards your purchases. Most small grocery stores don't offer this kind of rewards program, so it's nice knowing that Earth Fare does.
Overall, this isn't my favorite grocery store to visit, and I certainly wouldn't buy all my groceries here since it would break the bank, but there are quite a few things I like about it and continue to revisit.
