It's hard to believe that this place is fairly new. It looks like it has been road-worn and put up wet. Donuts are just okay, not at all the high quality donuts they were when I grew up in New York and they were baked fresh everyday. I've read online that Double D no longer bakes them fresh, which is sad. Had a few minutes the other day, so my son and I went in to grab a couple mid-afternoon donuts. Counter was covered in crumbs and frosting smears leading to the register. Sad part was that it wasn't busy, so at minimum, the place should've been spotless. Woman behind the register was nice, but c'mon, clean the counter up where you accepted my money. Without question, we will be heading up the road a bit to the competing bakery where they still make their items fresh and always have a smile when you enter.
