I'm shouting it out: this is my favorite coffee shop in Cleveland! I've been here a couple more times now and each visit has been better than the last. I found out all their teas are made locally and the owner makes most of the pastries. Also, pretty much eveything there is local. I went again today to study and it was perfect, unfortunately. Unfortunate because it was a Saturday morning. Seriously, this place should be packed.
I wasn't sure which tea to try and the owner just smiled and said "smell this" He took the lid off and held it up to me. I knew right away, yep that's perfect. Best tea I've ever had. Some kind of chai tea. I had some type of Hungarian pastry (I think, I forget the name) with homemade blueberry perserves on it. A-mazing.
Honestly, I love this place. There were several types of pies in the window as well as brownies and a chocolate bread pudding. If it hadn't been 10 in the morning I would have opted for a piece of homemade banana cream pie.
As I drove away, past a packed Starbucks, it took everything in me to not pull over and shout out for them to just drive 400 feet down the road to receive better quality, better service and a better overall experience.
