| - Visited Mike's Growers in February and March of this year. Very nice selection of perennials and trees, and staff was initially very helpful in recommending plants and trees that were to our liking and took into account the environment of our yard. We were provided with photo renderings of what our yard would look like with the selected planting seeds, and were told that, once we agreed on the final selection and placement, Mike's would submit the plan to our HOA. This was at the end of March. We sent an e- mail with our comments as to what changes we would like. And waited for a response. However, none was forthcoming. Went back to Mike's a few weeks later to ask when someone would get back to us, and were told that the landscaping foreman had quit, and that it would take a bit longer before anything could be done. Weeks later, we decided we couldn't wait any longer and we submitted the plan to our HOA on our own. Notified Mike's that we had done this, and received our approval from our HOA, so that Mike's could begin work at any time. We were assured that we would be hearing back from the person in charge of landscaping within a day or two. This did not happen. went back two weeks later and mentioned to Mike himself that no one had gotten in touch with us. we provided our contact info again, and were assured that the landscaping person would get in touch with us.
It's now October, and after six months of waiting with no response, have decided to go with another nursery.
