| - I called last week for the weekends rates. The woman I spoke with said Nae Nae would call me back. Nae Nae did not return my call.
I called today and spoke with Nae Nae, who was very pushy and too much for me.
First, she said she would only do 3 days minimum, then she talked about the summer care.
Second, she told me she could not give me the rates over the phone, and that I would have to come for a tour.
Third, she told me to make appointment because she was extremely busy.
Fourth, when I tried to make an appointment, she said she was at the park. She asked when would I be available to come in. I made an appointment with her at 11 a.m.
Fifth, she asked how well-behaved my child was. She told me to bring a copy of his "Student of the Month" when I told her my son won "student of the month" this month so she could hang in her facility.
Sixth, she asked what I did for work on the weekends. I told her I work for a local government agency. She then asked how much was I willing to pay. I told her I would come and talk to her since she was not giving out the rates over the phone. She asked if I had shopped around, and where I lived.
About 15-20 mins later, she called and told me she charges $15 per hour on the weekend. The minimum she would negotiate was $10.50 per hour. Mind you I was looking for care from 6:30am to 4:30pm. $15 per hour for 10 hours would be $150 per weekend day. (Are you kidding me?)
Her sarcasm kicked in, and she said she would not want to waste her or my time if I could not afford it. I told her even if I could it doesn't mean I would. I would still have to come and tour her facility. She told me to let her know if I could afford her rates; otherwise, she would not want to waste her time. I told her I would call her back later, and she said she would go ahead and make an appointment with someone else. I passed!!! Nae Nae is just too much for my taste!
