  • We moved to Las Vegas from Chicago in September and had a year (per the HOA) to get the yard done. Since we'd never lived in this type of climate, everything was new to us. I asked neighbors for recommendations, with Living Water being one of them. We met with Mark and Christine first, and never met with anyone else. He listened to what we wanted, made suggestions, and we went with them. Yes, he charged for an initial drawing of the concept but he spent time on it and even put it up on YouTube for use to look at. The project wasn't cheep, but I didn't expect it to be. We had an outdoor kitchen complete with grill, fridge and side burners installed all under a canopy. Probably the smartest thing we did. That canopy provides shade to the back of the house which keeps it cooler. There was an issue with the canopy when it rained, but Mark had the canopy company out to make adjustments and hopefully it was resolved. (Hasn't rained again) Since he replaced the builders brick patio with other stone, the original brick was re-purposed down the side of the house connecting to the driveway. That was Mark's suggestion, otherwise the original brick would have been waste. Great idea. Because you can't plant grass (and who wants the upkeep) artificial turf was installed in two places. One was a putting green, which turned out great. The guys doing the installation were wonderful. Cleaned up after themselves every day, and even provided "entertainment" to my cat. It took approximately 5 weeks for the project to be completed. When Mark came to collect the balance due, he went thru everything with me and answered all my questions. And much to my surprise, there are now many rosemary plants in the yard, which he pointed out so I could use that in my cooking. I'll never buy rosemary again! If you want someone to landscape your yard give Mark a call. You won't be disappointed.
