My first visit to SRF was last Saturday night to see an Arizona Fall League game. The management was celebrating the Military with a Military Appreciation Night that was quite awe-inspiring. I got choked up watching the large group of Air Force being sworn in on the field before the game. The venue is a little difficult to get to and it would be nice if the ramp off the 101 took you closer to the parking lot at the field. Anyway, it's a beautiful facility and a great place to watch a ballgame. We were there gratis as Diamondbacks season ticketholders and sat on the "Miller" patio, enjoying complimentary sodas, water and hotdogs. It was, after all, just a Fall League Game but I feel lucky to get to see live baseball in November. I look forward to going back for a DBacks Spring Training game next March. Go DBACKS!!!
