  • I bought a groupon with zero expectations. Typically I go to the local Borics or Supercuts for quick ten minute haircut/trim and be on my way. i saw a groupon for The Nail Spa and decided to treat myself a little. The place itself was a cute little studio tucked away in a basement on Forbes Ave. To be honest, i was curious as to what I was getting myself into because the hallway/steps leading to the basement were a little sketchy, but once you see the spa you know you're fine. My stylist was Katelyn. She listened to how I liked my hair and wasn't shy when I said I wanted three inches cut off. She styled it in a manner that I would be able to replicate on my own without the need of an arsenal of sprays, combs, brushes, etc. I left there impressed and would recommend this place to others.
