| - I stayed for one night and the room was very nice. I liked the fact that the bedding wasn't one of those down comforters that in the middle of the night you find yourself sweating and have to throw it off. This bedding is more of many layers of soft sheets and blanket, so you are warm and cozy and don't get overheated. Also there were many towels in the bathroom, with two of us, we didn't even use all of them. The toiletries were also high end, and the aromatherapy kit on the bed was such a nice touch. The bathroom has a barn door type door and this was really a nice touch. Loved how it looked and slide across. Also the shower head, while not rainwater, is big and the water gets dispersed as it comes out, making it a nice shower experience. There is also the usual desk and chair, the room is quite spacious. The internet worked perfectly on all our devices and is free. We were on a high floor and I slept like a baby. The lobby is quite impressive, with a spacious feel. Lots of seating areas, so you can always find a spot to sit and talk with a friend. One thing that I missed was a Starbucks, to grab a bagel, chocolate croissant or something for breakfast. The Caribou coffee type counter had very few choices for a quick breakfast and I wound up having a latte and a yogurt/fruit parfait which cost over $8.00. Even as expensive as Starbucks is I can usually get a quick breakfast for more like $5.00. The prices for the breakfasts in the restaurant were high, however the lunches were not so prohibitive. I did have a nice lunch and it was reasonably priced. The staff throughout the hotel was always smiling, eager to offer assistance and efficient at check in and check out. Well done Crowne Plaza.
