  • The Silver Dollar is a Toronto landmark located in a pretty sketchy area at College & Spadina. I was initially hesitant to come here because of the area but once I got in I was fine. It's pretty easy to get here take the subway to Queen's Park station and it's about a 10-15 minute walk west from there. Silver Dollar has a limited beer selection consisting of the big brands (Molson, Coors Light, etc...) and prices are a reasonable for a dive bar, I only had 1 drink the entire night. I went for the first time recently to see Yuck, an indie rock band from the UK who was on tour. It was a nice surprise to see them here as Silver Dollar is a very intimate space with capacity of around 200. The sounds quality was decent enough no real issues there after the show ran into the band at the merch table got a pic and left. Silver Dollar is a great dive to see a band very intimate space
