I am reviewing this like I paid $40 per night total (which I did - Southwest jackpot deal plus $14 per day "resort fee")
Room - we stayed in the recently remodeled West Tower. It was quiet and clean. Although it is starting to show poor upkeep with cigarette burns in the chair and marks on the wall paper.
Internet - you get free wi-fi with the resort fee. It went down a few times - you have to pay to use the business center ($10 for 20 min but we had a $5 off coupon, printing costs 2 minutes per page)
You can get your boarding passes printed for free at the mail/information desk but prepare for a line.
Check In/Out - I wanted to see if the room was ready around 11am and she informed me that their computers had been down since the previous night, yikes, but when I came back at 4pm they were working and it only took a few minutes for check in/out
Hotel - there are tons of people at night and it is kind of a maze, gaudy feeling but other hotels have that gaudy feeling as well. If you are walking, you have to walk thru the casino to get to the room elevators from Las Vegas Blvd
Food - all food in Vegas is way overpriced. We ate breakfast at the Westside Deli which was fine
Transportation - free parking - the walkway from the garage is on level 3 which is odd. You can get a bus right across from the Riviera to the strip.
Midway - went to use our 2 free games, friend won a stuffed banana by popping a balloon. Many arcade games, McDonald's. Didn't go to the Adventuredome as it seemed overpriced.
Staff - everyone that I met was friendly
Other - check out the Tix4Tonight booth to get discount ticket vouchers (must exchange them at the theater for your actual tickets)
If you are looking for a cheap place just to sleep, then I think Circus Circus is a good place to stay when visiting the Las Vegas Strip.
