  • I am an artist and designer (but not a graphic designer), so I am expected to put together a professional looking printed portfolio. I'm picky about the quality of the work, but I really don't have all the necessary knowledge and skills for print work. This could make for an annoying customer! Dixon Graphics handled me very well. I came to Dixon at the last minute, in the middle of really terrible snowy subzero weather, needing a portfolio printed and spiral bound by next day (really I'm the worst customer ever).They were very nice, and great about explaining how to set up my files. When there was a problem with my file that was my fault, they quickly reproofed for me after I made the fix, and had the final job done the same day. The work that I got back was very good, and I will use them again. I don't know about price comparisons--I just needed it done ASAP, but it was comparable to similar services ordered via the web where you don't even really get to work with the printing company to make sure the work is right.
