  • I was recommended Ancora for lunch by a coworker. I stopped in and ordered a grilled sandwich and mocha. It was a tad pricey (what coffee shop isn't though?), but I soon forgot about that when I took a bite into the hot caprese sandwich. Some of the best cheese sandwiches you can find there. AND a small soup is included, so if you like dipping your sandwich into tomato soup/bisque, your taste buds will be in heaven. They additionally offer pastries and other small snacks if a meal isn't what you're looking for. The coffee was good, too. There's usually plenty of seating so you can relax while sipping your coffee and reading one of the newspapers they have stacked in the back. Wifi is readily available as well if you need to get work done. No need to worry about obnoxiously loud music or noisy distractions, it's a really chill place despite its location.
