Trapped in Phoenix overnight due to a missed connection, American Airlines put me up at the Sheraton Phoenix Airport Hotel. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that it was the Sheraton (usually it's a much lower end hotel chain) but came to find that it is a lower end Sheraton. It was completely comfortable, and the salmon salad that I had in the lobby was pretty good (albeit overpriced), but it is definitely a Sheraton in need of modernization, particularly in the bathroom. The bathroom reminded me of one that you would find in a motel or a Days Inn. The airport shuttle arrived about 15 minutes after I called it to pick me up from the airport, and left promptly on the half hour when I had to return to the airport in the morning. Free Wifi was a plus. Totally okay for one night.
