| - I had a nail in my Firestone tire, and my original appointment was at the Firestone garage/shop across the street. After waiting on their parking pad for 45 minutes, first thing in the morning for them to open their doors (my appointment was for 7:30am and eventually I grew tired of waiting), I followed another guy across the street to Sammy's, which had already opened and was busy serving customers.
After re-parking my car across the road at Sammy's and explaining the issue with my tire and that I had a tight schedule that day, the owner, Sam, was very nice to me. He was accommodating and said he would "take care of me." He told me he would have my tire fixed by 10am and if they needed to order a new tire, he would let me know as soon as possible in case the tire wasn't in stock and I would have to wait for it, in case I wanted to re-schedule.
They ended up patching my tire, I was out of there by 9:45am. It became obvious to me that he fit me in between other customers, given the rush I was in.
I am a busy guy and I respect businesses who respect my schedule. Sammy's did just that, and I drove away happy.
