I would never recommend the Maternity/Recovery dept. My sister had twins, babies born early am, babies were healthy, nurses didn't bring babies into her room till just under 5 hrs!! No explanation other than shift exchange. I was heart broken for her. Also, the staff failed to note the med info and assigned nurse name and info on wall board. We had no idea of the nurses names thru graveyard shift. Graveyard shift nurses were rude, mean and didn't fulfill their shift duties of checking in on patient and babies, or give pain meds at the scheduled times. When we paged the assigned nurse for pain meds at one point she was rude and stated she has other patients. This was the first time we had paged her. This is not the experience a new mother should ever have to endure!
