| - One word: priceless!
On 12/31/2017, New Year's Eve around 10:30 - 10:45 am PST, while I arrived at the famous Las Vegas Strip and inside Caesars Palace, I visited to this overwhelmingly and sensational 1st class type buffet called, "Bacchanal Buffet." Bacchanal Buffet serves the customers of all ages to taste their finest, variety selections of foods and drinks from Chinese, Italian, seafood, desserts, American and specialty foodies every 365 days a year! The atmosphere is very active and on-going as I welcomed there. The concept is much similar to your favorite casino/resort buffets in the U.S., and for this buffet here, it's very modern and contemporary filled with early 21st Century decors and warming vibes across the whole interior room especially playing soft, amber music in the backgrounds!
The employees here from servers, hosts and cookers are doing a great job for making the customers like me a welcoming and remarkable service despite the busiest environment. No cons.
Now onto the munchies! Inside, there are over 100 foods to choose from, so I started off with my first plate choice of two dim sums (both har gow and seiu mai), green beans, broccoli beef, contemporary styled mac n cheese, slice of roast ham and a deviled egg with a bacon piece on top. As I ate my first plate, these selections that I picked were superior tasty and delicious! Both dim sum choices were perfectly good all thanks to the flavors of both har gow and seiu mai especially the sauces of broccoli beef too. The roast ham tasted perfectly and flawless! It tasted like I bought from Honeybaked Ham in a premium styled supermarket taste! It cooked perfectly and eatable to chew. The rest of them of that plate were not bad.
Now onto my 2nd plate! I did picked up fresh, boiled crab legs plus California rolls and Spam Musubi, sauteed mussels and a slice of veggie casserole. This time, the boiled crab legs is truly a big winner here in my opinion! These crab legs tasted sensational and outstanding as I did felt the brothy flavors of the crab. The meat content wasn't that bad which I did peeled and ate good amounts of crab meats entirely. My thought, I wish this place needs a crab cracker here, so I can use it to crack the crab shells faster instead of using my fingers. On the other hand, the assortments of sushis tasted alright for me cause both California Roll and Spam Musubi tasted kinda dry and pale, but it does have good amounts of ingredients on it, so I don't matter about that. The rest of them from sauteed mussels and veggie casserole both tasted marvelous! The veggie casserole deserves a winner here cause this one has a perfect balance of seasonings and hand-picked fresh vegetables. The mussels tasted good, but it was kinda cold since it got placed it on ice. I wish it should be heated instead of being too cold.
Lastly, the desserts! Yes, their selections of desserts were magnificent to choose just like Toucan Charlies Buffet inside Atlantis in Reno, NV does! Since I'm totally fulled, I picked slices of watermelons as these watermelons tasted amazing! Very fresh and clean for this fruit! Overall, what a feast it was despite that $59.99 holiday brunch price tag (due to New Year's special), and it's worth it!
Parking at Bacchanal Buffet inside Caesars Palace can be challenging to park. You can park at a nearby parking garage nor valet parking if it's available. Alternatively, you can walk, public transportation, carpool or ride sharing easier without the hassles and gimmicks.
To conclude, the Bacchanal Buffet is the most unbelievable and visualizing well known high end casino/resort buffet that I've ever dined in for the very first time right here in Las Vegas! Perfect for friends and family gathering; day and/or night! A well received ovation! My rating: 5 solid stars.
