The furniture seems to be good quality, but my issue is with the pricing structure.
I found a piece that I loved but was a little out of my price range. I figured I would just keep an eye on it and see if the price came down in the future. Then I heard about their day after Christmas sale. I hurried into the store, in the snow, to take advantage of the"56% off" that the flier online said (see attached photo for an example).
I go into the store, am told about the wonderful savings and show the sales person the piece I am interested in. Then I am told that the sale price is from the "compare at pricing" that is astronomically overpriced. All of a sudden, the $900 table I was looking at was priced at over $2000, but with the "wonderful" sale. Nothing in the original advertisement stated that the price would be taken off of the "compare at" price. I very politely expressed my frustration with the salesperson, who could do nothing more than repeat that the sale was on the higher price. Essentially, this is one of those stores that is CONSTANTLY having sales one extremely overpriced ticket prices (see Jos. A. Bank).
Overall, I was/am very disappointed that a store that I viewed as a smaller, more local option felt it necessary to try to deceive its customers to make a sale. I took (and will continue to take) my business elsewhere.
