  • PVP Sports stands for Player vs Player for those of you wondering. It was my second time coming here with my cousin. $35 for 3 hours of unlimited play where you could play Archery Tag, Bubble Soccer and Nerf Gun. As part of the Canada Day Weekend Special, you would receive 2 slices of pizza for free if you wore red and white or any Canadian jersey. As well, if you brought in a non-perishable food item which will be donate to the North York Harvey Food Bank, you get unlimited drinks. The staff that work there do a good job in giving the orientation for the activities. They explain how to properly use the equipment so that you won't hurt yourself or break the equipment. Archery Tag- This activity is where dodgeball meets bows & arrows. I am very impressed with the equipment offered in this activity. The tension on the bows are higher than other places I've been before. I believe the tension on these bows are about 30 lbs meaning that the arrows will fly when cranked all the way back. The masks are good since it can be tightened a lot better if you have a smaller face and does not fog up that much. The masks I've used at other places before were not good since they were always loose where the mask moves up and down and would fog up easily causing you to lose visibility when in battle. The tip of the arrows have foam on them so that they will bounce off of you once you are hit. Bubble Soccer - This activity is where soccer meets football in a human sized bubble. You are in a clear bubble where you try to score in the opponents net but are allowed to bump into people knocking them over. The staff tell you not to hit from behind but everyone does, and I know I do. Be aware of your surrounding so that you won't get laid out and get whiplash. Nerf Gun - this activity is a friendly version of paintball where nerf guns and nerf balls are used. There are a bunch of office rooms where you can hide or take cover as well as openings in the walls where you can shoot through at the opponents. I never had a problem with my gun jamming up, only jams if you don't reload the gun properly. My cousin and I had a great time and were exhausted after 2 hours of play since we joined other groups and played nonstop. They have a lounge area with chairs and tables for you to rest as well they sell soft drinks and some snacks. Tips: #1: For Archery Tag, I recommend wearing a long sleeve shirt to prevent the string from the bow chafing the inside of your forearm when shooting the arrow. #2: Bring socks as no shoes are allowed when playing archery tag and bubble soccer. #3: Bring an extra t-shirt as you will sweat a lot, especially after bubble soccer. #4: If you are under 18, you need a legal guardian to help you sign the waiver. #5: Check-in on Facebook to receive a free drink.
