  • I cannot say enough good about Mr. Brake. Recently our family van had major shaking problems when stopping. We called the last "nameless" tire place we had our van serviced at. Let's just say it was a BIG, Oh so disappointing conversation. They told me it was a rotor problem and it would cost me about $400 to fix. We had just replaced brake pads and rotors within the year, so.......um....no. After looking on Yelp (I love this site), all signs pointed toward Mr. Brake. These guys are the real deal. My initial call had me sold. They were up-front and informative about what they would do. They explained their pricing and all possible scenarios and costs. I made an appointment, dropped my van off, and expected 1) a long wait, and 2) at least $300 in service fees. Long story short, they just needed to machine the rotors and after about an hour (maybe less) it was $85 out the door. Here is the deal. Mr. Brake is quality, honest, and affordable. It is so refreshing to find someone trustworthy to work on my car. I just wish they did all mechanical work. I am definitely a customer for life and would suggest others do the same.
