| - These people are beyond redemption. I purchased a used laptop in May with a 90 day warranty, and of course, the battery went bad within a week. I just called to see what the warranty policy was, and was told that the warranty doesn't cover the battery. How convenient to be told this AFTER I had bought it rather than BEFORE.
Rather than make a big deal about it, I agreed to buy a new battery from them. However, since I live out of state, they would not take my credit card over the phone. The also told me that they WOULD NOT take a certified check, bank check, or money order, and that my only option was to mail them CASH.
With absurd policies like this, (along with the entirely indifferent attitude), these guys are just begging to go out of business for the second time.
Rather than continue to be treated like a pile of horse manure, I hung up the phone on the moron I was talking to and ordered a battery from Amazon. It's arriving tomorrow, with a real warranty, and real return policy.
If you like being promised something and then being completely blown off, this is the store for you! They can't even decide what their name is (Laptop Xchange)?
