I've been shopping here for years, and 8/10 I have no problems. Today I attempted to make only the second return I've ever made. I bought a whole Durian fruit from the frozen aisles. I got home and opened it and it was pure mush. It was completely inedible. As I suspected from a previous experience with the same woman (store manager, apparently) I had trouble. A LOT of trouble. I was told this was normal, and that she eats this. I was told I couldn't return it; that she didn't know how it was weighed and such. It was all very confusing. Then, she claimed that the girl that checked me out yesterday rang it up wrong. Keep in mind, the receipt I was given had several prices and no item names. I paid $20 on my debit card, and was returned $8 when all was said and done. Similarly, I tried to return mochi one time (that was literally rock hard) and the same woman told me that this was normal for mochi. It's all very frustrating. The customer has no say in this store, and I felt very disrespected. There should've been a simple return or exchange, and instead I got a fraction of what I payed and was argued with.
