Came in last weekend to buy a cruiser. They had a Phat Cycle that I was excited about. I'm a big guy and asked about capacity which I was told should be fine. I rode the bike 3 times and the pedal gears began to grind. I took it back and Bryce helped me out. They said it wasn't typical and it was due to the quick manufacturing of the bike from the factory. I began asking about returns and explained it just felt shaky altogether and I was generally uncomfortable after 3 rides.
They said it could be repaired or they could do the student buy back program. I was weary all together and they noticed it about me. I just wasn't comfortable with the bike at this point. After noticing my disposition on things they stepped up and made a customer service decision without me even asking. I won't disclose the details of the return but they really stepped up and took care of me.
They also showed me which bike might make me more comfortable as a rider for future reference. I was very pleased at thier level of customer service and knowledge and I highly recommend this store to anyone. Big shout out to Bryce at the Hardy location for really understanding and helping me out! As a customer service trainer with over 13 years of experience I was really impressed at his proactive identification of my concerns.
Will be back when I'm ready for something more solid!
