I recently stopped in here to get a tie and shirt for my brother for his birthday, I was in a rush (my fault) so got pressured into buying both items and didn't ask the price. Ugh, another big fault. The service was reasonable, but sales-y.
The problem began when I needed a different size for the shirt and he hated the tie.
I could only get and exchange, which I realize is their policy, I asked nicely for a refund, no dice. The store owner then insisted my brother doesn't like "nice shirts" and then outright called him cheap because he "buys $10 shirts" he was patronizing, rude and absolutely awful.
Now I'm stuck with store credit and an aversion to ever wanting to go back - not to mention he put an expiry date on my store credit!
An associate of mine who works for a major news outlet (not to be named) had called them on a holiday show she was doing and got the same awful attitude, she had recorded it and it was another rude conversation with the owner again.
Needless to say, I am filing a BBB complaint about the company in addition to their practice of placing expiry dates on store credit. The thought of owning something from there is too much to handle, so I will likely pick out a few things and donate them to a men's shelter.
Avoid at all costs.
