  • Came here twice for a basketball game and Jay Z concert. The stage itself is nice (+4 stars), parking isn't too bad (+4 stars) $12 if you pay beforehand, very easy to get to, you don't have to deal with driving on a busy strip (+1 Star). But there are some things that they could do better: 1. The steps are so steep and definitely not for people who are scared of heights like me. They are steeper than any other places I've been to. (-2) 2. There's some cold sections as if it was 50 degrees, so prepare to bring your jackets. (-1) 3. Food selection is limited, same thing everywhere. I would be less upset if their food court had more variety of food. (-1) 4. Security check is a joke: I brought my 15 inch wide purse with me both times. First time, they let me in but didn't let me bring water in. Second time, the security guy said I couldn't bring that purse in, but let me bring water in? What's wrong with them? AND they didn't really do a good job at screening people bring weed inside. I was almost throwing up for being a second hand weed smoker. That is really annoying to me. I would minus three stars but that would give them zero star. So -2. Okay, I'm getting to my main rant: When we went to Jay Z concert, there was a ridiculously long wait to sit down and for the show to start (-2). The show was supposed to start at 8, and this is the timeline for the night: 6:45pm: pick up our tickets 6:45pm to 7:45pm: walked around the Park for about an hour (good thing we didn't go right inside) 8pm: passed security check. Usually, they will tell you to go left or right, but the lady who checked our tickets didn't even show us where to go. It's not that hard for us to figure out, but isn't it part of their job description? 8:45pm: just got to our seats. I didn't know what they were doing but but when we got to our sections, we weren't allowed to go to our seats. We were standing there for about 45 minutes. It was so frustrating, I was on high heels and there was nothing cool around to see or sit down. Somebody even got fainted and had to go to the first aid room. It looked like a fancy refugee camp. I felt so bad for people who paid $200+ for the floor seats since they were trapped outside standing waiting for 2 and a half hours at least to get seated. When we got to our seats, the show didn't get started until 10:23pm, it's 2 hours and 23 minutes late. Later I found out that they had some issues with the projectors. This place is new and they already have instability issues with their technologies?!?!? When he got there, oh man, I don't know whose fault it is but the sound system was sooooo bad. The noise was so overwhelming that we couldn't even hear what he was rapping. If that's because of their in-house technology issue again, then I'm not surprised; otherwise, Jay Z's sound system guy shouldn't get his salary for this show.
