  • OMG. I used to come to this mall in the early 90's when it was in full swing and completely busy and full. I recently returned and even though I was up to date on what had happened, it was still unbelievable. The fact that Dillard's even operates clearance centers is a disgrace to their brand. This one smells horrible - like a convalescent home. When you look down to the closed first floor, you almost long to ride the escalator down there to a cleaner, nicer place, even though it's now empty. The racks are so full of merchandise, it's a major effort to even find things to buy - worse than Marshall's or TJMaxx. I realize that some people love this location for the deals, but I just can't. I rather go to the full line stores and have a beautiful shopping atmosphere and really pay the same, if I pay attention. When Scottsdale is having clearance sales, the prices are not much different and you leave not feeling completely exhausted and drained. I bought a bunch of polo shirts at Scottsdale and then at the Fiesta clearance center both in the same weekend, and the price was identical.
