  • Stayed here with the wife four two nights while in town for a wedding. I do travel quite a bit for business and normally stay in 5-star joints as my work allows. This place was as good as any top shelf big-city hotel. Room was clean and immediately comfortable. Probably one of the most comfortable beds I've ever experienced at a hotel with PLENTY of pillows. Plenty of space, obviously with a large fridge and sink. Fixtures weren't the newest in the world, but all very clean and well-working. Only negative here is the TVs... old, fairly small standard def. This is an area the hotel could and should upgrade. However, free wi-fi made up for that. The bar is another plus for this place. They're generous with free-drink tickets. The bartender on duty both evenings was very nice and outgoing. He made it a point to remember our names and provide lively conversation. He also gave us an up-close meeting with the parrot living just off the bar. Definitely something we won't forget! This is the place I'd stay anything going back to Urbana.
