  • Wow, I've driven by this place way too many times to count, and never would've thought to stop at this little strip plaza for some high-quality sushi-grade fish. There's a fridge on the side filled with pieces of fresh assorted sashimi that you can ask to be cut into slices if you wish. In the middle is a fridge with frozen Japanese food and also pre-packaged rolls, chirashi bowls, etc that you can just take and go - perfect if you're in a rush. There's also an a-la-carte menu you can order from, for more roll and sushi options. The Torched Salmon Roll was amazing! The blow-torched salmon and avocado on top pretty much melted in my mouth. As for sashimi, we got salmon, blue fin toro, and uni, which all tasted extremely fresh. To top it all off, if you want dessert after your meal, you can always hop across the street to IKEA for some $1 frozen yogurt. :) Although restaurants like Miku, Jabistro, and Zen may still be my favourite for high quality fish, this place is the best you can get considering the price. Will be back for some take-out the next time I'm craving good quality sushi!
