The interior is nice - rich looking and decadent. The food is expensive. I don't mind paying for a great meal but this one had some highs and lows.
The seafood tower is definitely a high point. It's very impressive with the smoke from the dry ice cascading over the tower.
I had the rib eye which was surprisingly a little tough. My husband had a bite and he definitely agreed with me - just not tender. For sides we had the snap peas (ok) and lobster mashed potatoes (ok). Dessert (large group) was a variety including butter cake, cheesecake, and key lime pie. They were all good but none were memorable.
A final comment - Mastros' has employees working in the bathrooms, handing out towels to dry your hands. This is definitely something I do not like. It's very uncomfortable having someone stand there while you wash your hands, waiting for you to finish so they can hand you something and maybe get a tip. Ugh!
