My wife brought her 2017 Camaro in for body work and 2 weeks later she was able to pick up the car. Throughout the 2 weeks she had called to try and get a finish date only to be promised twice that the car would be finished and ready to pick up and then told the car wouldn't be ready after all. Also, the collision department was slow in returning phone calls and appeared to be too busy to give good customer service. When she finally picked up the car I noticed that the passenger side fender which was replaced had a smaller gap between it and the hood compared to the driver's side. Also, the carpeting on the drivers side was full of muddy dirt. They didn't have the decency to even vacuum and clean that area. It's no wonder that Gateway is not on Hartford's list of preferred body shops. Lesson learned!
