I chose them from my provide list. My problem is with the staff.
I Thought that the doctor I saw was good. I was told that they would refer me to a gastro for a ccolonoscopy on 1/12. I waited over a week & phone them about it & was told that I needed to call the ins co & have them change my primary to them before I could get the referral. I wasn't told that I had been assigned to anyone.
WHY WASN'T I TOLD THIS WHEN I MADE THE APPOINTMENT, OR WHEN I HAD MY APPT & THEY TOOK MY COPAY, AND WHY DIDN'T THEY PHONE TO TELL ME INSTEAD OF WAITING FOR ME TO CALL THEM?
I called the ins co & changed the primary to them. Still no referral & called them again. This time they told me that I had to get bloodwork done first. This had never been mentioned before.
WHY DIDN'T THEY TELL ME THIS WHEN I HAD MY APPT?
On Sat 1/30 I got a letter from them that was dated 1/25 telling me to call a number "for prior authorization".
WHAT IS THIS ABOUT & WHY WASN'T THIS MENTION AT MY APPT OR DURING EITHER OF THE TWO TIMES THAT I CALLED THEM?
I've now changed my primary again and made a new appt with someone else.
