  • Simple Oil Change I took my car in for an oil change and after picking up my car from the shop, I noticed that I had a huge oil leak in my garage the next day. I noticed that my driveway also had droppings on it. My driveway and garage were spotless prior to this problem. I called up Gil's Automotive and they said just bring it in again, we probably just need to tighten it. Well, I did and it appeared fix, however, I noticed oil drippings in my garage again the next day. Long story short, my husband looked at the car and found that the oil plug was not the same one. My plug was changed out and this one did not have the rubber seal on it. Therefore, my husband ordered me a plug for my car and now the problem is solved. It's unbelievable how little mechanics care about their customers. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but somebody else got my plug and got their broken one. Now, I have oil markings up and down my driveway and a big one in the garage! I can't believe that Gil's Automotive royally screwed up an oil change. Good luck with any big job at this service center. How did Gil's Automotive get their good reviews online??
