  • One word: YUM. Midwood Smokehouse has an atmosphere you'd expect from a smokehouse/steakhouse. It's casual, it's comfortable, it's pretty simple. There's a great bar, a large dining area, and every server we've ever had has been knowledgeable, helpful, attentive, and just the right amount of fun/playful. Food, served on cute home-y dishes, is incredible. I alternate between the brisket and shredded BBQ. My husband will order nothing except for burnt ends because they're "the best meat candy you could ever have." The sides are just as delicious. Bacon-wrapped jalapeños (a signature Midwood dish), mac-and-cheese, fries, and hushpuppies are a few of our favorites. The banana pudding is KILLER as well. I've truly never been disappointed with anything I've ever had at Midwood. The meal can get a little pricy for BBQ, mostly because we tend to not be able to decide and order a lotta food. But, it's totally worth it! Midwood is one of our Charlotte favorites!
