rev:text	I recently held a work event here with roughly 30 people. Pravda provided a wide variety of Vodka drinks / shots, amazing food and outstanding service the whole night. I know this is primarily a bar for drinks but the absolute highlight for me was the incredible food. The perogies were spectacular - no wonder Toronto Life magazine recently named them second best in the city. The Perogies come in 3 types - 1) traditional, 2) Veal and 3) Vodka cream. The Veal were the best - served with brown veal sauce and mushrooms. The Chicken Kiev, Flatbreads and mini angus sliders were also outstanding. I tried a number of tasty martini drinks including the BOLSHEVIK BLUEBERRY MUFFIN, SOVIET APPLE MARTINI and MARXIST ESPRESSO MARTINI. Next up were the shots - Russian Hand Grenade, Apple Pie and a tasting flight of different straight vodka shots. It was a tough next morning :( I guess I shouldn't be surprised but Pravda only offered a single beer - a Russian lager. Tasted like a Russian version of Canadian / Blue. Service was outstanding. The food menu was fully explained, drink orders / refills were taken quickly and staff made excellent drink recommendations for the group. We were also brought a number of free drinks / shots and extra food through the night, a nice touch. The staff ensured my large party had a great time... and we did. I will be back for sure. I've been dreaming of the perogies and Vodka is a nice change from beer every now and then. BK
