| - I had a few hours at the spa with a very long 80 min massage (reasonably priced too!) and a visit to the waters. Very, very good massage. I would give him 4/5 and one of the best massages I have had. He was very detailed and great pressure. Amazing on my neck, gave advise after for stretching, and brought me a nice tea after. He had trouble on my legs though, back hamstring, it was painful and i did not like it at all.
The reason for the lower rating was the spa itself. Though it was okay looking, noting wrong with it, it was very loud. There were lots of groups of people, and two in particular were as loud as you would see people at a bar. Apparently one group was asked to quiet down three times, but should have been asked to leave. This seems to be a place you go with a group to have fun, but not somewhere to relax (which is what a spa should be). Second, the massage room was really boring and oddly bright. I had to ask him to turn down the lights, and there was no scents, and it was just very average.
This is definitely the most inexpensive spa I have seen in Toronto, though not by a whole lot. If price matters to you, and you have other people or are not bothered by noise, definitely go. If you are used to top spas, think again, the lack of little details will definitely get to you.
