  • I wish I could give negative stars. Protech is sent by LG to repair appliances under warrantee and they should have checked these guys out better. "unprofessional" is the first word that comes to mind. Then," rude" and "dishonest" When I was told I had to prove my appliance was under warrantee by faxing or emailing my receipt before they would come even though I told them it was only 3 weeks old, and the purchase date had been verified by LG , AND LG had given them the referral. "Some people lie" was her reason. I did do this immediately, but the day before my appointment I received no less than 4 messages on my voice mail telling me that no one would come if I didn't send my receipt. The young man who came, was unprofessional in appearance and actions.He did not offer to remove or cover his shoes even though it was muddy out. He came alone for an appliance repair that required moving a heavy stove . When I asked him how he was going to move it by himself he said it was the customers responsibility to have it moved so he could work on it. He was there for at least 20 minutes before he realized that the part he brought was the wrong one. He then had a very loud conversation on his cell phone with someone at his shop, blaming someone there for giving him the wrong part. During the next few days I received several calls form him and another woman at their office conflicting each other. One said they didn't have (never had) my part. Then one saying it came in, then another that it was not in and was on back order for 2 MONTHS. I was also told that since they were the only certified repair agent for LG in the area there was nothing I could do but wait. This was not true. I called a repair service that I had used a couple years before for another appliance repair, and they were able to get my stove repaired under warrantee with just a phone call to LG form my kitchen! He was told that he would have the part in a few days, and it was not and never had been on back order.
