Disappointment is the main feeling when I came to Toronto.
With lots of expectations, I was pretty much unhappy with the whole experience here. Is it because the fact that I went to so many this kind of market so that I am numb about such experience or this is because this place is nothing unique at all. I would say both!
Well, why did I say that I could be numb about such similar market? Well, I went to Seattle's market, which has so many places to eat, and seafood to choose and bakery to crave on. This place only has limited amount of food to dine in. The most popular one is the chip & fish located in a corner of the market. I did not try because seats are limited and the outdoor seating is far from the exit spot. Laziness prevents me from getting the food. And bakeries are just okay. I did not find something fancy to try. What else? Most B1 floor is composed of chinese food, in which I am not going to do another eat-shit-series today.
Seafood area is fancy but expensive too. But I do find some crabs to buy to cook by myself.
I did not reconcile with this place is because of another reason. It's lack of liveliness. Not a lot of people around, not a lot of tourists, not a lot of food places.
Why would I come here if I can go to seattle.
(This place reminds me of how much I miss and love Seattle!)
