  • I had a two and a half hour layover in Phoenix, heading to St Louis, so I wandered around the airport for something decent to eat. Anything that is not the usual airport fast food: McDonald's, Subway, Pizza Hut, etc... I strolled past this place once to look for Starbucks, but turned around and came back because something from there smelled good. I ordered the rice bowl and iced tea. I liked that I'm finally eating HOT food in the airport. My cup of iced tea was never empty... Anyone walking by with the iced tea pitcher kept refilling my cup. Awesome! Then my server came back and offered me some tortilla chips, so I said ok. They were pretty busy, but I never felt like I was missing anything with my meal. Service was excellent, food was okay. I will surely come back when I am flying through Phoenix in the Southwest terminal.
