My husband and I were looking for a decent new breakfast place to try in the area. Naturally, we took to yelp! Benedict's had great reviews and we thought to give them a try. We were not disappointed! We were surprised to see how small the establishment was when there was nearly 200 reviews so far. When you walk in, there are a few tall bar-like tables on one side and a few bistro-like tables on the other with an order counter in the center. They also have a few patio seating tables outside in the shade. After taking a look at their simplistic menu, we placed our order. My husband, a food fanatic and self proclaimed critic (lol), ordered the classic Benedict and I had Challa French toast and green tea. Our food came out as quick as one would normally expect. There were two other parties there at the time. The flavor and quality of the food was fantastic! Even though the portions didn't seem large, we both got full. The French toast was easily one of the best I've ever had. My husband said his Benedict was very well prepared and the hollandaise was excellent.
The only reason I'm not choosing to give this review 5 stars is due to the size of the cafe and their seating. The inside dining area is about the size of large master bedroom with seating for about 16 people which would feel rather cramped if every table was full. The tables have barely enough space for two plates and drinks unless it is nice enough to sit outside.
However, the atmosphere and music was very quaint and cozy. It gave the feel as if you were in a small town at a cute little family owned cafe. Aside from an excellent breakfast menu they offer coffees, teas, and an assortment of pastries. And they cater! A great place for a cute, quiet breakfast or to chat with a friend over coffee and scones.
