  • I sadly give Great Things Consigned only two stars as they were the first consignment shop I worked with since moving to Charlotte from the northeast, and they really were wonderful. The owner, Amelia, was a sweetie and she had such nice people working for her. They'd often ask what I expected for an item if it was high designer, otherwise they had their own formula which I trusted. I'd often receive a check after I'd forgotten I still had items there. Then Amelia sold to one of her employees named Fabio who was lovable at first but became "over the top" in every way imaginable. RUDE AND EFFECTED to say the least. I wouldn't trust doing business with him and suggest you try some of the others that have opened up in town. Nouveaux at Ballantyne Village would be a good start.
