We had reservations for 4 on a Wednesday night for Citizen Public House- it wasn't super crowded but I can see why a reservation is needed; the food is amazing!
The inside of the restaurant is classic and comfortable with an upscale feel. We split the chopped salad, burratta and mac and cheese as appetizers. The chopped salad was mixed right at our table and one of the best salads I've ever had. The mac and cheese is super light and a big sized portion topped with a refreshing tomato relish. The burratta is served with bread over an amazing cauliflower and tomato mix.
For entrees we had the Pan Seared Scallops, Chula Swordfish and Fair-trade short ribs. Everything was amazing. The scallops are served over a unique and delicious corn grits. I personally ordered the swordfish and it was light, perfectly grilled and served over zucchini noodles with a light burre blanc sauce.
I would highly recommend having a meal here if you're in town.
