  • Finally got in here to try out some of their delicious Cajun food. They had previously been in a couple other locations and I had always seemed to miss visiting them both. This place cooks some really tasty food and the insides are well decorated with plenty of Louisiana style decorations as well as several cool looking mardi gras paintings and other fun items on the walls. We came here on a business lunch and had the chance to get here right when they opened. Service was very friendly and the food came out rather quickly. They even have an area for a guitarist that plays during special occasions. NICE! We started with some of their Lulu's Sweet and Spicy Tabasco Wings and a cup of Chicken and Andouille Gumbo. The wings were large and fried just right and the sauce had some nice tangy flavors. The gumbo was also very good and had just the right amount of heat. The guys ordered the fried Catfish and Shrimp entree and the Jambalaya with Andouille Sausage. Yours truly went with the Catfish covered in Crawfish Etouffee Sauce and a side of their Olive Coleslaw. Everything was spectacular and tasted just like what you get while visiting the New Orleans area. The menu here is not very large and missing some of the popular blacked fish dishes that you usually see down south. Would like to see a few more types of seafood and possibly some spicy bacon wrapped cheese stuffed shrimp or some alligator options. Definitely will be coming back again to try out some of their other specialties like their yummy Po'Boys and their different types of Etouffees and Gumbos. Cajun food is hard to find in the AZ desert and they do a great job. AHYEE! 4.25 STARS
