  • We were referred to these folks by our Home Theater installation team, and agreed to let them repair/paint the drywall holes as result of cable routing. The two gentlemen, Erik and Dustin, were diligent with positive attitudes and good to have on property. The final product was not up to the expectations set by the workers however. 3 of the 7 patch locations are obvious in that the patch work is showing through the primer and finish coat of paint. A fourth wall area is showing white primer beneath the finish coat, and the fifth wall area is an obvious paint touch-up color variation. We have had this type of work completed on previous homes, more than a few times, and a talented drywall tradesman will need more than 1 day for repairs due to the mud drying requirement; these folks primed over the mud an hour or so after application and long before it was dry. We have had experienced painters touch up walls/ceilings with near perfect results; we can see each of these touch-up locations with ease. We were being fair by asking the guys to come back to take a look at the result; they left when the paint was still dry. They even asked me to follow up the next day, which I did. Unfortunately they stopped communicating last Friday after never connecting. We received the invoice this morning and I responded that we were waiting for a call from the guys. That's when we heard from Mark, the owner I think. Although we were willing to have Dustin and Erik back to correct what they could, we changed our minds while speaking with Mark. Our facts, supported by texts, were immaterial to him, he indicated that our point of view is different than the guys, that nobody would be returning or calling us back, and to pay the invoice immediately. This is about 60 minutes after receiving the original invoice; invoice date 12/20/2017, due date 1/1/2018. We agreed to pay him $300.00 and he forcefully told me to give him my credit card number, which we were not willing to do. Invoice was paid within a few hours. Ironically, we were willing to pay the entire amount due - $525.00 until Mark called. Not a pleasant experience at all; we told him never again and he indicated the feeling was mutual. We removed them from our selection of contractors for the remodel of our home.
